Twenty Eight Cafe

A freelancer's dream - we're loving this new industrial chic space in a quiet street with great beats, open early, stable wifi, power sockets, and most importantly, bloody good coffee.

Totaly hidden gem going on here. Tucked away in the back streets of the Orchard end of Selegie Road is this super chill space dishing up great coffee and breakfasts.

Open early, this is a lovely quiet spot around town to get a bit of work done (free wifi and loads of power sockets) or just chill and gaze out through the gorgeous windows at the world going by as the caffeine kicks in.

Twenty Eight is by the same people behind 28Wilkie (the Italian restaurant and bar next door) and the fare is mostly brunch focused. Think classic breakfast items, such as eggs benny, smoked salmon with guac, eggs and sourdough, and your traditional English breakfast. The itchy fingers items totally hit the hangover haze, with the likes of truffle fries, Indian churros and the Pig-Out sandwich on offer.

Freelancers especially – add this to your working cafe repertoire.
