God we love this place. The cocktails, the food, the setting - all are equally brilliant and deliver every time. Ultra-progressive gastronomy that is fun, playful and fresh.

Though hardly a hidden gem these days, how could we not have these guys on the list – despite being one of Asia’s most talked about venues, Tippling Club keeps that real, hole-in-the-wall authentically cool vibe.

Chef/owner Ryan Clift (also of Ding Dong, Open Farm Community and Open Door Policy fame) is known for his signature modern gastronomy that is fun, playful and fresh. The cuisine is experimental and ultra-progressive, and paired with unique cocktails.

The tasting menus are divine. The wild turbot faux squid risotto with lobster, the foie gras with white peach, and the Toriyama beef with horseradish burrata are just some of the features that will have you bringing every guest that comes to town here.

If, on the other hand, you’re just stopping by for one of their smokin’ cocktails, make sure you ask for the bar snack menu. Think “bags of fried things”, grilled brie and truffle sandwiches, and braised wagyu pastilla. Heaven sent.

The new digs at Tanjong Pagar span three shophouse units, featuring a bar, dining room and upstairs private dining room. The private dining room seats 12 guests and features its own kitchen, with Clift available for cooking personally for your function.
