If tropical vibes, great drinks and a killer ocean view are your thing, this is your fave new weekend hangout. Taking over the now-defunct Il Lido at the Sentosa Golf Club is this gorgeous cafe/grill specialising in farm-to-fire cuisine drawing inspiration from all 14 countries along the Pan-American highway.

The vibe here is colonial chic, the space is bathed in gorgeous fresh ocean light and the breezy terrace and garden below are nothing short of heaven a short step away from the city hustle.

The space centres around the Asador, the huge Argentinian grill roasting succulent meats and setting the mouth-watering tone of the place. Kick off your meal with a couple of small plates, featuring street food flavours from the region, followed by grilled offerings to share.

The drinks are just as much on show here as the food, with the gorgeous horseshoe bar taking equal stage. Don’t miss their Grown Up Fanta (think Fanta with aperol and prosecco), the fresh juice cocktails or their signature white wine sangria. Any great restaurant that offers a drink menu longer than the food is a friend of ours.

This is a gorgeous spot to escape the city buzz and settle in for a long session with friends over good food and drinks (and don’t be surprised if someone takes you from behind with a porron).
