A pumping new tapas and sake bar tucked away in the growing hipster row at Tras Street - this place is getting rave reviews and we couldn't agree more.

Tucked away in a beautifully restored heritage shophouse in Tras Street is this super cool new Tapas and Sake Gastro Bar. BAM! pays tribute to the revolutionary trend of “Modern Shudo” (“Shu-do” literally means ‘sake-way’); a contemporary way of sake appreciation. Chef Pepe introduced the “Modern Shudo” concept to Singapore, showcasing the virtusosity of pairing sake with Spanish-influenced food.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the glitzy shopping belt, along the growing hipster lifestyle row at Tras Street, BAM! is chic and under-stated with an industrial vibe. The service is friendly and the staff knowledgeable. To quench your thirst, we highly recommend the Lychee Sake-Tini and Be My Valentine if you’re a martini fan. On the culinary front, we loved the White Button Mushroom Soup, the Duck Gyoza and the Pork Cheek with hollandaise, endives and mustard.

This is a great venue for a fun night out with friends or date night. Its also a great spot for mid-week lunch, with the lunch set menu offering a starter, main, dessert and coffee for $40++.

BAM! also has a discreet private dining room, perfect for events of up to 14 people.
