Ask anyone…this is one of our favourite early morning spots. Silence befalls the leafy, misty trees with the only sounds being the chirp of cicadas. Parking is a breeze, and as you walk towards the sweet little café under the vines, there’s the friendly barista making that little cup of joy as soon as he sees you coming…
So…we know we might sound crazy, but the morning coffee ritual is sacred! Open Farm – you bring such joy to our hectic, sweaty lives – it’s the perfect, peaceful start to my day. The coffee is great (sourced from Common Man Coffee Roasters), and for breakfast, the heart really flutters when you see the lovely big jars of homemade muesli, the jug of fresh milk and fruit to help yourself to.
Oh and did we mention they have huge air con units beside each table to keep you cool under the overhead vines? This place is a winner for an early morning peaceful coffee, or later in the morning with kids and dogs. It’s also fab place for sundowners and table tennis.
Open Farm Community is owned by the Spa Esprit Group, who run loads of other successful ventures in Singapore (Common Man Coffee Roasters, Ding Dong, Forty Hands, We Need A Hero, to name a few). They also have a restaurant attached, which is more formal and is open daily for lunch and dinner.
