Just Opened HOT LITTLE SPOTS TO TRY THIS WEEK
Named for craftsmen associations of the past, this super slick new hotspot in Keong Saik Road represents everything we love at Off Orchard. The handcrafted theme runs deep here, from the culinary offerings, to the excellent craft beer menu to the warm and personalised service.
The Butcher’s Wife
Celiacs and gluten-free advocates rejoice, ain't no grain in Tiong Bahru's latest game. Taking over the old Open Door Policy digs in Yong Siak is this dedicated gluten-free restaurant that dishes up brave, contemporary cooking that will make your heart sing and your stomach smile.
If tropical vibes, great drinks and a killer ocean view are your thing, this is your fave new weekend hangout. Taking over the now-defunct Il Lido at the Sentosa Golf Club is this gorgeous cafe/grill specialising in farm-to-fire cuisine drawing inspiration from all 14 countries along the Pan-American highway.
Coffee Addict GET YOUR FIX SOMEWHERE NEW THIS WEEKEND
The Social Space
Tucked away little gem with great coffee, healthy bites and a socially conscious foundation that's quite frankly just good for the soul. This multi-concept cafe just off the Keong Saik neighbourhood opened late last year with the aim to provide a cool yet socially inclusive space, focusing on low-waste and conscious living.
Tiong Bahru Bakery (Chip Bee)
Possibly our all-time favourite coffee house, now open on the Chip Bee strip. Excellent coffee, fresh industrial vibes and pastries with that perfect balance of sticky, salty and sweet (err... if you know what we mean). These guys are on fire right now.
Twenty Eight Cafe
A freelancer's dream - we're loving this new industrial chic space in a quiet street with great beats, open early, stable wifi, power sockets, and most importantly, bloody good coffee.
One Man Coffee
A gem tucked away in Upper Thomson serving up excellent coffee, and the largest fried chicken sandwich in town.
What more can you ask for on a lazy Sunday morning? Gorgeous outdoor patio. Amazing avocado toast. Washed down with a cold brew.
Hidden away in the back streets of Tanjong Pagar is this sweet little Melbourne-inspired cafe, with a subtle tropical twist. Gorgeous instagrammable interiors, good coffee, and the food tastes as good as it looks!
